After spending 10 years as a math and science teacher at Concordia High School, Amy Sanders accepted the position of Interim Head of School as of July 1, 2011. She has a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta with a major in mathematics and a minor in physical sciences. She is a specialist in mathematics, biology and chemistry. Presently, she is completed a Masters in Educational Studies degree from the University of Alberta focusing on school improvement and leadership.
Ms. Sanders has played an integral part in her many roles at CHS in making the school a dynamic learning environment for all students. She has been a leader in our service learning and missions projects but has worked on the yearbook and organized annual ski trips. Her enthusiasm and passion for learning is infectious to staff, student, parents and the community.
In her free time, Ms. Sanders enjoys yoga, downhill skiing and ball room dancing.
