Student Council at Concordia High School

Responsibility, respect and integrity are woven throughout Concordia’s educational environment. Our students are encouraged to value learning and respect for others, and are given opportunities to develop and use their abilities to serve their campus and community.

Elections

Leadership training is a key element of the student council experience. Each year, the council elects students to the following positions:

• President
• Vice-President
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Spiritual Life Coordinator
• Sports Coordinator
• Grade Representatives (6 positions)

Elections for most positions are held in April, for the subsequent school year. Elections for Grade Reps are held in September.

Fall Retreat

At the end of September, the entire student council goes to Camp Kuriakos in Sylvan Lake for a two-day retreat. A highlight of the student council experience, the retreat allows students uninterrupted time to work on planning the year.
